Point of Service System
On Monday, October 26, all TK-8th grade students will begin using the MVSD Nutrition Services’ new Point of Service (POS) system during our meal times!
What does this mean?
In an effort to better track the meals that we are serving and to keep our mealtime lines moving, we will begin asking students to please enter their Student ID number (SID) when receiving a meal, either at breakfast, lunch or supper.
Where can I find my Student’s ID Number?
If you don’t already have your student’s ID number handy, you can get it easily by logging into your Aeries Family Portal.
Families can help find the SID in three easy steps:
1. Log in to the Aeries Family Portal.
2. Find your student’s ID number under Demographics.
3. Help your student practice entering and remembering their number.
As a reminder, TK–2nd grade students will receive additional support from school staff, including cards or student lists as needed, so please do not worry if your younger child has not memorized their number yet.
