Open Now - MVSD Intra-District Permit Application Window for 2026-2027

Dear MVSD Parents and Families,


The Mountain View School District has opened the Intra-District Permit Application window for the 2026-2027 school year today, Wednesday, January 14, 2026 through Friday, February 27, 2026. 


Who does this apply to?

Intra-district permits are for students residing within the Mountain View School District boundaries whose families would like to request they attend a non-resident school within MVSD. 


Note

  • Students who already have an intra-district permit on file WILL NOT need to renew it on an annual basis

  • Students who are requesting to attend a non-resident school within MVSD will need to submit an intra-district permit located on the District website here: Mountain View School District - Permit Forms   


How do I submit my Intra-District Permit form?

  • Complete the form (online or by hand)
  • Save as an Adobe PDF (.pdf) file
  • Email this to Yessika Alvarez at yalvarez@mtviewschools.net in the Student and Family Support Services Department (SFSS) by Friday, February 27, 2026.

  • Complete the form (online or by hand)
  • Print the form
  • Submit it in person at the District Office, at 3320 Gilman Road, El Monte, from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except holidays, by Friday, February 27, 2026.
