Our Human Resources department utilizes the latest technology to provide accessible, accurate, and timely services both to individuals seeking employment and current MVSD employees in the areas of recruitment and selection, training and development, employee and labor relations, compensation, and benefits.
Our Human Resources staff is available to assist school sites and departments in the development and implementation of practices and procedures that maximize the potential and enhance the contributions of a diverse workforce.
Areas of Responsibility
It is the goal of the Mountain View School District to provide all students with a high-quality education in a safe and nurturing environment, supported by the partnerships of school, home, and community, that will instill the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for all students to reach their full potential and to become contributing, compassionate citizens in the world community.
In support of this goal, the most important function of the Human Resources Department is to recruit, attract, and retain the highest quality teachers and staff who are committed to preparing today's students to succeed in tomorrow's world. All selected applicants are processed through the DOJ, FBI, and/or NASDTEC (Certificated only). NASDTEC is a clearinghouse that checks credential status in all 50 states.
