Learning Packets & Remote Learning Provided

The Mountain View School District is extremely proud of its students for the resiliency and effort they’ve shown during these very challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.  With the physical school closures and the dramatic change to their daily routines, our students have done their best to adapt to their new home classroom and a different way of teaching and learning.

To ensure continuity of instruction, MVSD is providing remote and virtual learning via online lessons and coursework, as well as distance learning packets for transitional kindergarten through eighth grade which can be picked up in a drive through format at the District Office.

“We miss our students greatly and the energy and enthusiasm on our school campuses,” said Lillian Maldonado French, Superintendent.  “We know our students are working hard at home and we are very proud of them and grateful to our families for their dedication and support.”

Whether students are participating in activities led by their teachers using Google classroom, Zoom, See-Saw and many other remote and virtual platforms, viewing messages from their principals, listening to story time with library technicians and other staff members, or completing hard copy distance learning packets, they are doing their best with this new way of learning.

“We are committed to providing the best possible education during these unprecedented times and our teachers, support staff and administrators have worked diligently to provide distance learning and connections to their schools and classmates that are so important to our students,” said Maldonado French.
