Health & Nutrition Education

Well-nourished students have higher test scores, increased school attendance, improved concentration, and improved classroom behavior.  Good eating habits at a young age can contribute to a long healthy life.

Dairy Council of California has learning activities, resources, games and videos for home and school to support healthy lifestyles.
Serving Up MyPlate is a collection of classroom materials that help teachers integrate nutrition education into math, science, English language arts, and health.  This yummy curriculum introduces the importance of eating from all five food groups using the MyPlate icon with a variety of hands-on activities.
