MVSD Vaccine Clinic June 5 for 12 & older
Mountain View School District has partnered with Herald Christian Health Center to host a vaccine clinic Saturday, June 5, providing free Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines for MVSD families and local residents 12 years and older. The vaccine clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Payne Elementary School, located at 2850 N. Mountain View Road in El Monte.
“We are very excited to help facilitate vaccines for our district families and students 12 years and up,” said Lillian Maldonado French, Superintendent. “As a District, we have worked very hard to ensure that our families and local residents have access to the vaccines and we have provided assistance with scheduling appointments as well.”
Appointments are highly encouraged for Saturday’s clinic. Morning appointments may be scheduled at https://bit.ly/mvsdgetvaccine-am and afternoon appointments may be scheduled at https://bit.ly/mvsdgetvaccine-pm
Walk-up appointments will also be available, pending vaccine availability. The second vaccine dose will be given on Saturday, June 26.
Minors ages 12 to 17 must be accompanied by a legal guardian and present a signed consent form provided by the L.A. Department of Public Health to receive the vaccine. Additionally, for students who are not part of the Mountain View School District, proof of age and a photo ID are required.
“We are grateful to the Herald Christian Health Center for partnering with us on this extremely important endeavor,” said Maldonado French. “The health and safety of our Mountain View community is vital and we are dedicated to supporting our families and community with convenient and local access to the vaccine.”
