Superintendent's Message

Superintendent's Message
Raymond Andry, Superintendent

The Mountain View School District strives to create experiences that engage, empower and inspire all learners, preschool to eighth grade, in every classroom, every day. We believe in our students and through a spirit of high expectations, teamwork, respect and care our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality instruction and programs for our students and families.

Inspiring each student to succeed every day is our mission and we are committed to the development of the whole child, providing instructional support to ensure students are learning, as well as social/emotional support to ensure they are ready to learn. MVSD is proud to have school counselors and mental health partners at every school.

In MVSD we believe that together we can, and our team is dedicated to providing the best for all students. We are proud to provide innovative learning experiences that prepare students to become problem solvers, critical thinkers, effective communicators and positive contributors to their community. This is achieved through programs like STEAM, AVID, SEAL, extensive technology learning, Spanish Dual Language Immersion, Mandarin Enrichment, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, comprehensive Visual and Performing Arts, Band, a strong college bound culture, after school enrichment and sports, and nationally recognized nutrition and health education and family engagement programs. MVSD is also proud to be one of four LA County Disney Imagination Campus Districts.

I am both honored and humbled to serve as Superintendent, where the dedication of our Board of Education, administrators, teachers, classified and support staff, as well as the high expectations and support of our families continue to produce an amazing learning environment for our students.  Each day Team Mountain View strives to make a positive difference in the life of each student we are privileged to serve as we provide a solid foundation of skills that inspires lifelong learning and prepares them for the next level.

Sincerely,
Raymond Andry, Ed.D.
