Kaleidoscope Outreach Hosts Pumpkin Carving Event

Kaleidoscope Outreach Hosts Pumpkin Carving Event

Families from Twin Lakes Elementary School enjoyed some fall season fun at Saturday’s Pumpkin Carving Family Event sponsored by the Kaleidoscope Outreach from Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV) in San Dimas.

Each child received a free pumpkin and together with their family went to work carving the perfect masterpiece.  Adding to the family fun, the event included face painting, a scavenger hunt, raffle prizes and lunch.

“My pumpkin turned out really good!” exclaimed Jasmine, proudly showing off her creatively carved pumpkin.  “I like Halloween and it is so nice that they have this for us and give us pumpkins.  I like doing fun things with my family.”

The Kaleidoscope Outreach is a great community partner to Twin Lakes and the Mountain View School District and continues to provide students and families with support.  In addition to the Pumpkin Carving event, Kaleidoscope Outreach has provided backpacks to students, fun soccer clinics, mentoring, homework help and more.

“We are so grateful to the Kaleidoscope Outreach for supporting our school and enabling our families to enjoy some seasonal fall-time fun,” said Michelle Torres, Twin Lakes’ principal.
